Sue and Barry, I am so sorry to learn of the passing of your beloved brother. The pain you feel now will soon be replaced by happy memories of life with him as well as hearing of the impact he has had on the lives of others. Take comfort in the knowledge that he is now safely in the arms of our Lord.

I am so very sorry to hear of Kirby's passing!!! May God bless each of you with His peace & comfort. Grew up with Kirby in Timmonsville. Our parents were great friends. Loved this entire family. Mrs. Miriam was my 8th grade math teacher that helped me transition from public to private school back in the early 70's. Hugs & love to all of you.

When I heard of the passing of Kirby, I was shocked and saddened. Kirby and I met years ago at Youth Annual Conference, when we roomed together at Wofford. One of our responsibilities was to keep an eye on the young men on our hall. One thing that amazed me about Kirby was his devotion to the youth in his church. He looked after them as if they were his own. Later on Kirby took over concession duties and he was tireless in providing drinks, candy, etc. for the youth. Kirby was one of the kindness men I have ever met. He walked the walk and his love for our Lord was obvious through his actions and the way he carried himself. When Revolution began, he offered the youth house to our youth group and others as a place to stay. He even arranged for the men of the church to fix breakfast for our group. All the time, Kirby was a fantastic host. Kirby left a legacy where many will miss him. May God's peace touch those who will miss this wonderful man.

Kirby was a loved man by all his friends, fellow members of church, peers and everyone of his children. He had the best smile that was so infectious. He was like a 2nd dad to alot of us. He'd get on to us if he had to or if we weren't acting right. He had a huge heart n forgave way too much even for those who didnt deserve it. He always gave u a second chance.i am blessed to have known this gentleman and have the numerous years of memories though asbury from mission trips to walk of christ, arise services, trunk or treats, church trips, lock ins and soup-er bowls and when my dad did plumbing on the youth building and at killingsworth. He loved them tigers. I'll miss his sweet voice in the choir. He truly left his mark on alot of people. I will cherish every single memory I have. Even some of the inside jokes we've all made during our youth days. My condolences to the family and friends and the asbury community. I love u kirby u will be dearly missed. I only hope heaven is what ud always wanted it to be. God truly gained a angel hope ur watching down on all of us kirbs n guiding us the right way like u always have.
