Obituary of Angela Nichole Taylor Strickland

Angela Nichole Taylor Strickland, 38, of Lexington, South Carolina passed away August 5, 2019.    She was born on February 14, 1981 in Florence South Carolina to Mark and Janet Skenes Taylor.

Angela was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter and girlfriend (Ma).   She was a great friend to all.  Angela always had a smile on her face and made others smile as well.   Her passions were turtles, flowers and her garden.  Angela had an infectious sense of humor that touched many lives.  

Angela is survived by her daughter, Kaitlyn Strickland; and her granddaughter, Maliyah Strickland; her brothers, Adams (Camilla) Skenes and Shaun Weems; her sister, Shannon (Trey) McVey; also by her Step-Dad, Eric (Uncle Dad) Taylor.

She was preceded in death by her Dad, Frank J. Skenes, Jr.; and her grandparents; Kaitlyn's father, Jason Strickland; and grandmother, Rhonda Strickland. 

The family will receive friends at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington on August 11, 2019 from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM.
