Obituary of Jeroline Whitaker

Jeroline Whitaker, 89, of West Columbia, South Carolina passed away May 20, 2019 at Lexington Medical Center in West Columbia.  She was born on November 15, 1929 in Columbia, South Carolina to the late Harold L. Mims and Pearl Edney.

Jeroline loved her family. 

Jeroline is survived by her son, Brian Lee Whitaker and his wife, Tasca Cecelia Whitaker; her two grandchildren, Delia Jeroline Hinson and Donald Blaine Hinson, Jr. and his spouse; son-in-law, Christopher Adkinson; nephews, Brantley Davis, Steve Davis and Joey Davis.

She was preceded in death by her husband of thirty years, Harold T. Whitaker, Sr., her son, Teddy Whitaker; her daughter, Victoria Blaine Whitaker; her half-brother, Harold Lee Mims, Jr.; her sister, Mildred Davis; and her three nephews.

The family will receive friends and family at the Graveside Service on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in Elmwood Memorial Gardens, 501 Elmwood Ave., Columbia, SC 29201.
