Obituary of Bill G. Wooten, Jr

Bill G. Wooten, Jr. "Sonny", 68, of West Columbia, husband of Delitha "Del" Dawes Wooten, passed away Monday, May 20, 2019. He was born on November 19, 1950 in Clarkton, North Carolina to the late Bill Giles Wooten and Mary Faith Douglass Wooten.

Bill was a produce broker with Gene Morris Company and attended Willow Ridge Church.

In addition to his wife he is survived by two daughters, Erin Wooten Erwin (Lucas) and Sarah Faith Wooten; one sister, Carolyn Wooten Strickland; sister-in-law, Donna Wooten; brother-in-law, Randy Duncan; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was predeceased by two infant sons, Charles Clark Wooten and James Hector Wooten; sister, Mary Douglass Wooten Duncan; brother, James Edison Wooten; and brother-in-law, Bert Strickland.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 23, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. until 6:15 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington followed by a funeral service at 6:30 p.m. in the chapel. Burial will be held on Friday, May 24, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in Twin City Memorial Gardens in Loris, South Carolina.
