My heart is full of prayer for this family, Wendy shared the same sweet, caring nature as her mother Betty and twin sister Cindy, and her loss is great. I always think in losing someone so dear that God only picks the most beautiful flowers to put into His Garden. Wishing peace for all of you.

Even though it has been 37 years since I last saw that beautiful smile, I have never forgotten the Light that shone from Wendy. My first party in middle school was hosted by her family, and we had many more years of pajama parties shared after that. Wendy, like her sister, Cindy, is a joy-bringer, and I am sure that never changed. I will continue to pray over your family, as you celebrate the life of one so very special. Love and respect, Judy Beth Holland Ratchford

My deepest condolences to Ms Wendy’s family. I’ve had the pleasure with working with her the past few years and this brings unexplainable heartaches. I could talk to her about anything and she always kept a smile no matter what. I’m going to miss her so much, I pray God heals your pain and increase your strength.

Wendy you were always a bright spot in my day. No doubt a fighter. You smiled regardless of how you felt. You will be missed and glad you have found peace and I know your soul is flying high.
Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die.

Ben and I were so blessed to know Wendy. She was a part of our dating life, wedding party and the birth of our children. She was a fantastic person who was always there for us. I hate that we did not see each other the last several years but we are so grateful we were able to spend a few hours with her last week. Even in her pain she was an encourager. The only comfort in this sad situation is knowing that because Jesus loves us and we have accepted his gift of grace and redemption we WILL see Wendy again. Blessing to all who loved Wendy. Ms. Wendy and I worked together at Providence, and she was such a joy to encounter. She was always so kind to me and definitely a stickler for doing superb work in her ER. She gave me many tips and tricks to help my proficiency come alive on our shifts. Most importantly, she was extremely giving; and during our last shifts together before I went on maternity leave she bought my son a million of the cutest onesies ever! We laughed a lot, and just enjoyed our time together. I miss her already. My prayers and thoughts are with the family. Wendy, your kindness will never be forgotten. Thank you for being such a genuine person, and you'll forever be "Aunt Wendy" in my heart.
