Obituary of Bobby O’Brian Ard

Bobby O’Brian Ard, 51, resident of Lewisville, TX, formally of West Columbia, passed away on January 7, 2019. 

Born May 26, 1967 in Columbia, he was a son of Steve R. Ard and Sylvia Shealy Kearse. He was employed with NEC Corporation as a Project Manager. Bobby was of the Baptist faith and was an avid Clemson Fan.

Surviving in addition to his father of Wagner and mother of West Columbia are three brothers, Richard Ard and wife Hope of West Columbia, Jody Ard of Colorado and Stewart Ard of Columbia; two sisters, Helen “Scooter” Watson of West Columbia and Aron Bouknight and husband David of Oakridge, TN; several nieces and nephews and many friends. He was predeceased by his step-father William Cauthen.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, January 12th at 4PM in the Thompson Funeral Home Lexington Chapel with the Rev. Larry Shull officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3 to 4PM prior to the service.
