Obituary of Lawrence Eugene Gamble

Lawrence Eugene Gamble, 69, of West Columbia, SC passed away at home Thursday, December 20, 2018 after a short illness.  Memorial services will be Sunday, December 23, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. at Mt Hebron United Methodist Church, 3050 Leaphart Road, West Columbia, SC.  Visitation will be 3:00-4:00 at the church. Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington is assisting the family.

Born on January 8, 1949, in Charleston, SC, he was the son of the late Earl and Rosalina Gamble.  He graduated from North High School, worked in the car business until his retirement at Fairey’s Chevrolet-Cadillac, Orangeburg.

Mr. Gamble leaves behind his wife, Sue Gamble of 49 years, sons, Stephen Gamble, of Lexington SC and Chad Gamble (Kelly) of Lexington SC,  brother, Michael Gamble (Hope) of North, SC and sister Sylvia Baker of Gilbert, SC., grandsons, Evan Gamble and Collin Gamble.
