Obituary of Margaret Lynn Lee

Margaret Lynn Lee, 56, of Leesville, passed away Wednesday, November 21, 2018.

Friends who knew her called her Meg. She was loved by many. (old and young)

She has two sons that she adored Daniel R. Lee (Brooke) and Brandon W. Lee (Summer)

Meg was a GiGi to five grandchildren; Gavin, Gage, Graydon, Gracelyn and William. They were the love and light of her life.

Meg is also survived by Her Father William L. Whitener (Mary), Kip Perry and numerous nieces and nephews that she dearly loved.

There was never a dull moment when “Aunt Meg” was around.

Meg is survived by a sister and brother in law that loved her dearly; Stephanie and Brian Watson.

She is also predeceased by her Mother Joyce W. Whitener.

She leaves behind her little Dachshund Piper and many Dachshund collectables.

Meg’s work throughout her life effected young and old. She directed an afterschool program as well as working in the senior community. She left a little of herself in everyone she met.

The family would like to extend a very heart felt and special thank you to everyone who supported us over the years.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 24, 2018 in the chapel at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
