Obituary of Robert Leon Brazell

Robert "PeeWee" Brazell, 70, of, Cayce, SC passed away November 2, 2018 at Lexington Medical Center in West Columbia, South Carolina. He was born on January 2, 1948 in Harleyville, SC to the late Lonnie and Alice Brazell. PeeWee loved fishing, Gamecock football, cowboy movies, and most of all his grandchildren. He never met a stranger, loved everyone he met, and always had a joke to make others laugh. PeeWee had a heart of gold. He will be missed everyday and our memories of him will never fade.

PeeWee is survived by two daughters; Chastity (Eric) Dantzler, Mande (Jon) Bower; grandchildren; Madison Dantzler, Heath Dantzler, Mollie Bower, and Hattie Bower, a long term companion; Boodle Sarvis; two former stepchildren, Ashley and Van Velez; three brothers, Clarence, Doug and Buck; and two sisters, Peggy and Regene.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers; Lonnie, Dick, Bill and Joe; four sisters, Willie Mae, Annie, Doris, and Mary.

The family will receive friends for a visitation at Thompson Funeral Home at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 845 Leesburg Road, Columbia, SC 29209 on Tuesday, November 6, 2018  from 6:00 pm  - 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at New Hope Baptist Church, 3254 Princeton Road, West Columbia, SC 29172 at 11:00 am with Pastor Brooks Harper officiating. Interment will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
