Obituary of Troy Wood

Troy Wood passed away on October 31, 2018.  He was the owner of Wood Produce in Columbia, SC where he and his wife served the community for over 25 years.  He was a loving father and friend that will be dearly missed.

Troy was the son of the late Eugene and Marjorie Wood of Columbia.  He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Harriet B. Wood and son in law, Ralph Hutchins.  He is survived by daughters, Kerri Hutchins, Sherri (Kevin) Mattox, Beth (Robbie) Williamson; and sons, Gene Wood and Ronnie Cook (Jenny).  Mr. Wood leaves behind eleven grandchildren, one great grandchild, two sisters, a brother, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 12 p.m. on Friday, November 2, 2018 in the chapel at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington, with interment to follow in Southland Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., at the funeral home.
