Obituary of Donna D. Kropp

Donna D. Kropp, 59, of West Columbia, South Carolina passed away on October 24, 2018 in the early morning. She was born in Columbia, South Carolina on June 23, 1959.

Donna worked as a server/bartender at the West Columbia Applebee’s before falling ill a few years ago. She was a bright soul who had an infectious smile and free spirit. She was an avid Uno player and the Queen of dice with friends and family. In her later years her favorite thing to do was spend as much time with her grandchildren as possible.

She was preceded by her parents, John and Doris Dunne; older sister, Barbara Redick; and brother, Michael Dunne; also by her son, Christopher Dunne. She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Paul Kropp; daughter, Melissa (Jonathan) Ricard; sister, Jo Ann (Robert) Golden; sister in law, BJ Dunne; and grandchildren, Cooper and Kayleigh Ricard; along with several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great- nephews; and also by her fur baby, Scooter. 

A memorial service will take place on Sunday, October 28, 2018 from 3:00-5:00 p.m. at Thompson’s Funeral Home, 200 State Street West Columbia, SC 29169.
