Obituary of Shirley Sills Reames

Shirley Sills Reames, 86, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Monday, October 15, 2018. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend to many. She was a long time active member of Northside Baptist Church where she was the Organist for 35 plus years, a member of the Joyful Grace Life Group and the Silver Saints Singers. She graduated from Dreher High School and was an avid Gamecock fan. She retired from the Tax Division of the Assistant Attorney General's Office at the SC Tax Commission.

Shirley is survived by her three children, Ricky Reames (Sheila), Terri Pattillo and Lisa Simmons (Don); grandchildren; Kristi Till (John), Shannon Jenkins (Brian), Nicole Livingston (Stephen) and Stephanie Wilson; great grandchildren; Maddie, Emerson, Zoe, Mia, Lily, Kallie, Cooper, and Tanner; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, William Curtis Reames.

The family will receive friends from 1 PM till time of service at Northside Baptist Church, 4347 Sunset Blvd, Lexington, SC 29072. Funeral service will be held at 3 PM Friday, October 19, 2018 at Northside Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Woodridge Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Northside Baptist Church.
