Obituary of Maeola Harmon Porth

 Maeola Harmon Porth – St. Matthews – A Celebration of Life service for Maeola H. Porth, 96, of St. Matthews, will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, October 13, 2018 at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, 1130 St. Peter’s Road, Lexington, SC 29072. Pastors Bill White and Eric Little will officiate. Burial will follow the service in the church cemetery. The family will greet friends from 5:00 – 7:00 PM, Friday, October 12, 2018 at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington, which is assisting the family.

Mrs. Porth passed away October 9, 2018. Born in West Columbia, she was a daughter of the late J.W. Harmon and Marion Jacobs Harmon. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister who will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Maeola is survived by her sons, Lynn Ray Porth (Debbie) of Charlotte, Donnie Porth of St. Matthews; granddaughters, Khristy Porth Pedersen (Justin), Mallory Porth; great grandson, Holden Pedersen; daughter-in-law, Florence Porth. Maeola is also survived by her loving Chihuahua, Tippie. In addition to her parents, Maeola was predeceased by her loving husband of more than 50 years, Carl Ray Porth; son, Carl Michael Porth; 3 brothers and 1 sister.
