Obituary of Leland E. Shealy

Leland E. Shealy, 98, died Monday, October 8, 2018.  Born on May 10, 1920, he was the son of Lloyd Shealy and Viola Martin Shealy.

He is survived by a sister, Agnes Nichols; nephew, James Browder (Sue); grandchildren, Josh and Heather Malkiewicz; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Leland is predeceased by his sisters, Ruby Hodges, Annie Shealy, Grace Phillips and Hester Browder.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Friday, October 12, 2018 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Hopkins, SC.  Services will be conducted by Pastor Kenn Busbee and Pastor Joe Parker.  Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 11, 2018 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home at Greenlawn Memorial Park who is also in charge.
