Jowers Family .

Obituary of Jowers Family .

The Jowers family entered the kingdom of God just as they lived their lives - together.  On September 19, 2018, all four family members were killed in a terrible motor vehicle accident.

The family was led by Timothy “Tim” Wayne Jowers (47) and his wife, Linda Lorraine (47).  The children, Brianna (10 yrs) and Alexander “Xander” (8 yrs) attended Jones Dairy Elementary school.  Brianna was active in soccer, softball and dance, while Xander excelled at soccer.

Tim was employed by MUFG Union Bank in the information technology department and earned praise from his managers for his exceptional work and bright mind.  Linda, while trained as a registered nurse, was the glue that held the family together by managing the schedules, supporting everyone’s activities and establishing a loving home for the family.

The family moved from Charlotte, NC to the Wake Forest/Rolesville area to be near Linda’s parents, John Jr. and Reatha Povelones, who survive her.  She is also survived by her brothers John III (Sue) Povelones of Tampa, FL and Robert (Danielle) Povelones of Cary, NC; and sister, Vicki Siragusa (Joe) of Mooresville, NC.  Vicki and Linda shared a special sister bond.

Tim is survived by his parents, Willis and Linda Jowers of Columbia, SC.  He is also survived by his brother Will (Deana) Jowers of Lucas, Texas; and sisters Angela Jowers of Charlotte, NC; and Daria Jowers Harris (Chad) of Kazakhstan.

If anyone knew the Jowers family, they knew the family was almost always together.  Tim was famous for initiating family adventures.  Linda was known, both in and outside of the family, for her kindness and open-door hospitality.  The children lived in a constant state of family togetherness and love.
