Obituary of Judy Hancock Mims

Judy Hancock Mims, 74 entered into eternal rest on September 15, 2018. She was born August 29, 1944 to the late Dallas and Ruby V. Mills Hancock. 

Judy was a member of New Covenant Gospel Tabernacle. She enjoyed traveling and going to the movies with Faye Gates and her sister, Helen. Judy loved her sons, grandchildren and great grandchildren very much. Judy enjoyed spending time with her sister and brother in law.

Judy is survived by her two sons, Derek Tedder (Hiroko) and Damon Wayne Mims; grandchildren, Christina Hughes, Hannah Phillips, Joshua Tedder, Esther Tedder and Madison Mims; great grandchildren, Christian Michael Hughes and Silas Timothy Hughes; sister, Helen J. Hanayik (Steve).

Funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home at Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. till time of service.  Reception will follow after service in the Community Room at Thompson Funeral Home.
