Obituary of Franklin John Wolford

Franklin John Wolford, 85 entered into enteral rest on August 23, 2018 at Lexington Medical Center. He was born May 18, 1933 in Harrisburg, PA to the late Keith and Viola Grosch Wolford.

Franklin was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Frank was a United States Army Veteran and owner of Southern Steel Detailer. He was an avid golfer at Lexington Golf Club and he loved to travel. Frank was committed to loving his family and friends.

Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Lelia Wolford; grandchildren, Michael and Christopher; and brothers, Kenneth Wolford and Charles Hurlburt. In addition to his parents, Franklin is predeceased by his son, Franklin John Wolford.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, August 27, 2018 in the Chapel of Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington. Burial will be held privately by the family. The family will receive friends one hour prior to time of service at the funeral home.
