Obituary of Lessie Wilson Lentz

Lessie Wilson Lentz of Columbia, SC passed away peacefully Friday, June 15, 2018 after a long illness.  Lessie was born in Columbia, SC on May 1, 1926 to the late David M. and Nancy Free Wilson. 

Lessie was predeceased by her loving husband, Luther, of 65 years, and her 11 siblings including her twin sister, Jessie Lucas.  She is survived by her son, Russell (Deborah).

Lessie was a devoted wife and mother, a devout Christian and was a member of Ascension Lutheran Church where she served on various committees.

Funeral services will be held Monday, June 18 at 11:00 a.m. at Ascension Lutheran Church, 827 Wildwood Avenue, Columbia, SC  29203, with burial to follow in Crescent Hill Memorial Gardens. Casual attire is not only encouraged, but also recommended.
