Obituary of Sara G. Brown

Sara G. Brown, 83, of Columbia, South Carolina passed away April 20, 2018. She was born on November 23, 1934 in Columbia, South Carolina to the late Edward and Lillian Davis Glenn.

Sara is survived by one son, Eddie Brown (Tracy) of Irmo, SC; one daughter, Peggy Brown of Columbia; two sisters, Shirley Glenn of Columbia, SC and Barbara Abbott (Levi) of Columbia, SC; 3 grandchildren, Danny Brown (Kristyn), Courtney Nuovo (Mark), and Kristal Brown; 9 great-grandchildren, Matthew, Danny, Julie, Jacob, Landyn, Katie, Sofia, Lacy, and James; two nephews, Levi and Chris; one niece, Beth; and sister-in-law, Carol Gamble.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Reuben Brown.

The family will receive friends at Thompson Funeral Home at Greenlawn on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 from 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. with the funeral following at 12 p.m. Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
