Obituary of Floyd George Wood, Jr.

Floyd George Wood Jr., 64, passed away on Thursday, April 5, 2018. He was born on December 31, 1953, in Presque Isle, ME. He received a Bachelor's degree from Southern Wesleyan University. Floyd was employed as a Maintenance Planner at International Paper and Savannah River Site. He was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church, served as an elder, and led many youth mission trips.

He enjoyed the outdoors, antique hunting and flea market adventures. Floyd is survived by his wife, Debbie, and daughters Julianna and Morgan. In addition, he is survived by sister Peggy (Jim) Kline of Newport News, VA, and brother Alan (Sandy) Wood of Denver, CO. He is also survived by nephews Andy and Chris Kline. He also leaves behind the family dog Ryleigh.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, April 9, at 2:00 pm, at Trinity Presbyterian Church with an informal reception following in the church fellowship hall.

The family would like to thank the bystanders at US #1 flea market, Lexington County EMS, and the staff at Lexington Medical Center.
