Obituary of Ursula Barbara Wood

Ursula Barbara Botz Wood, 82, of Hopkins, South Carolina passed away April 4, 2018 at her home. She was born on October 15, 1935 in Heidelberg, Germany to the late Heinrich and Margarethe Stahr Botz.

Mrs. Wood was employed by J.B. White for 19 years. She was a wonderful and caring wife, mother, and grandmother.

Ursula is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, James E. Wood of Hopkins, SC; two daughters, Sharon (Mike) Shelton and Margie (Herb) Crow; three grandchildren, Ian and Hannah Shelton and Michelle Crow; and three brothers, Garrett (Rebecca) Stahr of New Orleans, LA, Klaus Botz of Killaloe, Canada, and Horst Botz of Kymi, Greece.

The family will receive friends at Thompson Funeral Home at Greenlawn Memorial Park on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 from 11:00AM - 1:00PM with funeral services following at 1:00 PM with Terry Cagle officiating. Interment will be at Fort Jackson National Cemetery.
