Obituary of James Grigsby McLendon II

West Columbia—James G. McLendon, II, 59, of West Columbia, South Carolina, passed away Sunday, February 11, 2018 at his home in West Columbia. He was born on November 16, 1958 in Columbia, South Carolina to James G. Sr., and Barbara Higbe McLendon. James is survived by his wife, Kathy; children, James Scott McLendon (Melissa) and Jessica Elizabeth McLendon; grandchildren, Kaylee McLendon, Cameron McLendon, Savana Clark, and Sara Clark. He is also survived by one brother, Walter David McLendon (Rita). The family will receive friends at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington on Friday, February 16, 2018, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. A memorial service will follow in the chapel of the funeral home at 2:00 p.m.
