Obituary of Marvin D. Hudson

Marvin D. Hudson, 80, of Columbia, South Carolina passed away February 26, 2018 at home. He was born on February 3, 1938 in Walterboro, South Carolina to Willis Hudson and Goldie Ritter Hudson. Marvin is survived by his loving wife, Sandra Hudson; children, Marvin "Marty" (Jane) Hudson, Jr. and Melanie (Alan) Ray; grandchildren, Lindsey and Allie Ray; and brother, Kisler "Tootie" Hudson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Herbert, Tom, Robert, Ray and Jack Hudson. The family will receive friends at Thompson Funeral Home at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 845 Leesburg Rd, Columbia, SC on Thursday, March 1, 2018 from 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
