Obituary of Gloria Faith Ballenger

Gloria Faith Ballenger, 64, of Columbia, South Carolina went to be with her Heavenly Father on March 5, 2018 at the home. She was born on December 18, 1953 in Warren, Arkansas to the late Walter and Aline Doss Mahaffey. Gloria owned and operated her own Cleaning Service for 30 years. She loved her clients and became close to all of them. She loved spending time with her family and extended family. She adored her grandchildren and fur babies. Gloria was very passionate and was always giving to others. Gloria is survived by her husband 46 years, Danny Ballenger; 1 son, Kris (Rachelle) Ballenger; 2 granddaughters, Ana and Brittany; 2 grandsons, Hunter and Alex; 1 brother, George Mahaffey; 1 sister, Clara Gantt; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 1 brother, Walter Mahaffey Jr. The family will receive friends at Thompson Funeral Home at Greenlawn Memorial Park on Friday, March 9, 2018 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm for a visitation. Funeral services will be at Thompson Funeral Home at Greenlawn Memorial Park on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at 2:00 pm.
