Obituary of Jacob Henry Bundrick

Jacob "Jake" Henry Bundrick - Graveside services for Jacob H. Bundrick, 75, of West Columbia, will be held at 3:30 PM, Sunday, March 11, 2018 at Mt. Tabor Lutheran Church Cemetery on Delree Street in West Columbia. Rev. Dr. Russell Stilwell will officiate. The family will greet friends from 1:00 - 3:00 PM Sunday, March 11, 2018 at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington, 4720 Augusta Road, Lexington. Mr. Bundrick passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2018. Born in West Columbia, he was a son of the late Charlie Ezra Bundrick and Elizabeth W. Bundrick. Jake served his country in the South Carolina National Guard, and had retired from the Columbia Fire Department. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother who loved Clemson football. He also enjoyed fishing, spending time with family, and especially enjoyed the time spent at the river house with friends. Jake is survived by his daughters, Michelle Bundrick of West Columbia, Christy B. Harmon of West Columbia; granddaughters, JaseAnne Harmon and Danielle Wooten; brother, Joe Bundrick of Florida; sisters, Dottie Ford of West Columbia, Beth Franklin (Buddy) of Lexington. In addition to his parents, Jake was predeceased by his loving wife of more than 25 years, Suzanne Bundrick; beloved grandson, Austin Bundrick.
